Welder

This role involves setting up, fitting, and welding ferrous and nonferrous materials for large components and industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform GMAW/MIG welding, tack welding, repairs, and rework.

• Read complex blueprints and welding symbols.

• Cut, grind, fit, bend, clean, and deburr weldments.

• Inspect and test welds according to AWS/ISO/MIL standards and welding codes.

• Weld and assemble large, heavy industrial components.

• Perform quality checks and ensure welds meet customer and code requirements.

Requirements:

• GMAW certification or 3–5 years equivalent experience.

• Welding technical training.

• Ability to use calipers, scales, squares, protractors, and shop tools.

• Strong shop math and blueprint-reading skills.

Preferred: Experience with heavy industrial equipment and stainless-steel welding.

Pay rate would be $20-$26.13 hour
