Assembly Operator - 1st Shift

Openwork is hiring dependable Assembly Operators for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This hands-on position involves assembling wooden components into finished cable reels, performing quality checks, and supporting daily production operations.

Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience and be comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location: Denton, TX 76207
Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Required as needed, including occasional 12-hour shifts and weekends

• Assemble pre-cut wooden components into finished cable reels
• Use hand tools and measuring devices to complete assembly work
• Follow work instructions and production specifications
• Weigh, label, and tag finished products for shipment
• Apply grease to reels for waterproof protection
• Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy
• Move and handle materials throughout the production area
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as needed

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience
• Experience using basic hand tools and measuring devices
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and product quality
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a labor-intensive, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work required overtime, including extended shifts and weekends

• Extended shifts and weekend work may be required based on production needs
