Cardiac Catheterization Technologist Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing complex cardiac and vascular procedures, contributing to the care and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Unit InformationThe position is located in a Cardiac Cath Lab that manages a variety of cases, including electrophysiology (EP), structural heart procedures (TAVR), and hybrid procedures (EVAR). This is a Level II Trauma unit with:
- 242 beds
- 2 labs
- 6-8 cases performed daily
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Schedule: 4 days per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- On-call requirements: To be determined
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Certifications required: ACLS and BLS (AHA)
Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic, and GE Maclab systems is essential for this position.
LocationThis role is based in the Cardiac Cath Lab in a facility located in a major region with access to advanced medical resources.
