Physical Therapist - Outpatient Job Description

This role involves providing direct patient care through the evaluation and treatment of outpatients. The therapist may work at various locations supported by therapy services, which includes providing care in multiple outpatient settings. Responsibilities may extend to delivering direct patient care for inpatients, including those in the emergency room, acute care, and patients transitioning from post-anesthesia care units (PACU). Participation in weekend and holiday inpatient rotations may be required.

Shift Information

Various and rotating shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.

Primary Focus

The key emphasis of this position is on outpatient physical therapy.
