1st Pet Veterinary Centers is looking for an experienced Primary Care Veterinary Technician to join our North Valley team.

Our North Valley hospital provides Primary Care, Rehabilitation, and Emergency & Urgent Care services, giving you the opportunity to work in a veterinary environment with a broad range of experience and resources.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Primary Care Veterinary Technician, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and support team to provide compassionate, efficient care to patients and an excellent experience for their families.
You'll:
• Provide skilled, compassionate support for primary care patients throughout their visits.
• Work closely with veterinarians to support examinations, treatments, and patient-care plans.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet parents so they feel informed and supported.
• Use your technical experience, organization, and attention to detail to help appointments and patient care run smoothly.
• Recognize patient needs and communicate important information to the veterinarian and medical team.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and Client Service Representatives to provide a coordinated client and patient experience.
• Maintain accurate, organized patient information and high standards of patient care, safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Continue developing your technical knowledge and skills as part of an experienced veterinary team.

SCHEDULE
Primary Care operates Monday–Friday.
Full-time team members typically work four 10-hour shifts per week. Shift hours may fall between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on the day and scheduled shift.

Requirements:WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an experienced veterinary technician who combines strong technical skills with compassion, communication, organization, and a commitment to excellent patient care.
You may be a great fit if you:
• Have at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience in a similar role.
• Have strong veterinary technical and patient-care skills.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and compassionately with clients and teammates.
• Are organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bring empathy, conscientiousness, and resilience to your work.
• Work collaboratively and are willing to support your teammates.
• Are dependable, accountable, and committed to providing an excellent experience for patients and pet parents.
• Are passionate about continuing to learn and develop your veterinary skills.
• Are available to work within our Monday–Friday Primary Care schedule, with shifts that may fall between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Current CVT, LVT, or RVT credential.
