Pipefitter / Fitter – Fort Worth Area
Multiple Openings | 1st & 2nd Shift | Competitive Pay
We are hiring experienced Fitters / Pipefitters for manufacturing facilities in the Fort Worth area, including Haltom City and Rhome. Candidates will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and assembling steel components according to blueprints and production specifications.
Haltom City – Fitter
1st Shift: $22–$27/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Saturday as needed
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Saturday as needed
2nd Shift: $23–$31/hr
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM–5:00 AM
Friday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
Saturday as needed
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM–5:00 AM
Friday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
Saturday as needed
Rhome – Fitter
1st Shift: $21–$27/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Saturday as needed
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Duties
- Fit, fabricate, assemble, and repair steel and other weldable materials according to blueprints
- Lay out and assemble components for welding, ensuring proper fit-up and weld quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production specifications
- Fit base plates, flange plates, brackets, vangs, ground sleeves, and other components
- Measure and verify parts using tape measures, squares, levels, and templates
- Perform shop layouts, setups, trimming, and alignment of steel components
- Operate overhead/jib cranes, hoists, grinders, cutting torches, and hand/power tools
- Inspect work for proper dimensions, alignment, twist, and camber
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards
- Work efficiently to meet production goals and quality standards
- Cross-train and assist with other production duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous fitting, pipefitting, structural steel, or fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16"
- Strong understanding of fractions, decimals, and basic shop math/geometry
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
- Ability to pass a fitter skills assessment, including tape measure/shop math, blueprint/weld symbols, and practical fit-up
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment, including seasonal temperature changes
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
