Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Technologist

Location: Winchester, Virginia

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: Sleep lab operates 7 nights per week (8 PM-6 AM)

Flexible scheduling available, including regular and per-diem schedules.

2-patient setup: 10-hour shifts at $40/hour.

3-patient setup: 12-hour shifts at $45/hour.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Technologist to join a growing sleep laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong sleep-lab experience, excellent technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to score sleep studies in real time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform and monitor overnight polysomnographic studies.

• Score studies accurately and efficiently in real time.

• Monitor patients throughout sleep studies and respond to clinical needs.

• Troubleshoot technical and equipment-related issues.

• Maintain accurate patient and study documentation.

• Follow established sleep-lab protocols and safety standards.

• Support a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

• Lead Tech experience is a plus.

Education, Licensure, and Experience

• RPSGT certification required.

• Virginia license required.

• Previous sleep-lab experience required.

• Ability to score studies on the fly.

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

• Lead Technologist experience is preferred.

• Candidates who are close to completing their boards may also be considered.
