Certified Maintenance Technician

We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills to join our apartment maintenance team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can diagnose problems, complete repairs independently, and provide excellent resident service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Complete plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs.
• Handle apartment make-readies, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry.
• Respond to service requests, document completed work, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Participate in the emergency/on-call rotation and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of property maintenance experience required.
• Strong HVAC diagnostic skills; 2+ years of hands-on HVAC repair experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification strongly preferred; Universal highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize repairs, and communicate with residents and management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, in person, with occasional after-hours work and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Pay: Based on experience, certifications, and technical skills.
