Medical Assistant - Primary Care

Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support providers and the primary care team with clinical and administrative duties while ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, obtain patient history, and prepare patients for exams.
• Perform ECGs, specimen collection, venipuncture, injections, and other MA duties.
• Assist with check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and scheduling.
• Maintain medical records, charts, immunization records, and health registries.
• Provide patient education and exam instructions.
• Assist providers with medication refills and clinical documentation.
• Answer calls and address routine patient concerns.
• Support the care team with daily administrative and clinical tasks.

Requirements

• National Medical Assistant certification required (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA, or CCBMA).
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current health/immunization records and TB testing required.
• EPIC/EHR experience preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• English fluency required; bilingual Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is a plus.
