Medical Assistant - Primary Care

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant – Primary Care to join an outpatient primary care team in San Jose, CA. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, support patient needs, and ensure smooth patient flow.

Key Details

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required
• National MA Certification required
• Accepted: AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA, or CCBMA
• EPIC EHR experience preferred
• Outpatient Primary Care setting
• English required; Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese preferred
  

Responsibilities

• Patient intake, vital signs, and exam preparation
• ECG, specimen collection, venipuncture, and injections
• Patient history, charting, and medical records
• Check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and scheduling
• Patient education and provider support
