Lead Carpenter

Our client is a well-established residential remodeling company looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee remodeling projects and lead field crews. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping projects organized, on schedule, and up to quality standards.

Pay: $44-$54/hour
Schedule: Full-time (7:30am-4:00pm)

• Lead daily operations on residential remodeling job sites
• Perform carpentry work while overseeing project production
• Supervise and support carpenters and other field crew members
• Coordinate with subcontractors and help resolve jobsite issues
• Work with designers, production managers, and other team members to keep projects on schedule
• Communicate with clients and participate in client meetings as needed
• Schedule and coordinate inspections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Ensure crew members follow proper safety procedures
• Monitor project schedules and communicate any issues or delays
• Complete punch list items and ensure work is completed to specifications
• Communicate regularly with the production and planning teams
• Respond to calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner
• Complete and submit timesheets, receipts, and reimbursement requests
• Attend production and company meetings
• Use technology and project management tools as needed

• 3-5 years of carpentry experience, typically
• Experience leading a construction crew or remodeling project
• Strong knowledge of residential remodeling and construction
• Knowledge of how different trades work together on a renovation project
• Proficiency in a wide range of carpentry skills
• Lead-Safe Renovator Supervisor certification
• Construction Supervisor License required within one year of accepting the position
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on the jobsite
