Alexandre Family Farm is looking for CDL A Local/Regional Hay Flatbed Doubles Driver in Medford, OR to haul hay & occasional lumber loads. Our drivers are team players, professional, and dedicated to doing the job right. Alexandre Family Farm’s drivers play a vital role in the success of our customers, our company, and ultimately, themselves.
 

Compensation:

• Average gross annual pay range: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Pay per mile: 60 CPM
  • On Duty Hourly rate: $25
• Additional Pay:
  • Layover pay: $40 per night, in sleeper
  • Loading/Unloading pay: $25/Standard hourly rate
  • Detainment pay: $16/hr
• Paid semi-monthly/can be via direct deposit

Home Time, Route and Schedule

• Home Time: Home every other day
  • 2 day routes
•  Route: Primarily Cedarville, CA to Smith River, CA & Ferndale, CA hay barns
  •  Typically 2-3 routes a week
  • Start times: various available, flexible
• Level of touch: Touch freight
  • Hauling hay, lumber

 Equipment

• 2021 model year trucks
• Flatbed doubles 5-axle, flatbed singles 5-axle
• Manual 10 Speed Transmission

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A license
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Tank Endorsement in state of residence preferred but not required
• Doubles and Triples endorsement required
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3-year period
• No more than 2 accidents within a 3-year period
• DOT Drug Screening required
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug screen and physical, as well as motor vehicle, criminal background, and employment reference checks
• Must live within 150 miles of Medford, OR or be willing to relocate
