Established (25+ Years) National Litigation Defense Firm Seeking Partner in Pasadena, CA

An established national litigation defense firm with over 25 years in practice is seeking a Partner-Level Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join their Pasadena, CA office. No portable book of business is required. This role offers the opportunity to step into a Partner position backed by a national platform, a strong reputation, and a collaborative infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has experience with general liability, premises liability, construction defect, professional liability, and other insurance-related litigation matters, and wants a long-term home where steady work and partner-level upside are built in.

Offer:
$200,000-$250,000+, contingent on experience
No portable book requirement
No firm-paid benefits, though partners may join the firm's medical, dental, and vision plans along with life insurance and other optional offerings at their own cost (this is factored into the compensation)

Qualifications:
7+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense or closely related areas
Experience handling general liability, premises, construction defect, professional liability, or other insurance-related litigation matters
Juris Doctorate and active California Bar license in good standing
Proven track record of delivering strong results in high-exposure litigation matters
Strong working relationships with insurance carriers, TPAs, or self-insureds are a plus
Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills with the ability to work independently and lead a team

Responsibilities:
Handle and supervise all phases of litigation from intake through trial
Manage a active caseload of insurance defense matters with a high level of autonomy
Mentor and develop junior attorneys while contributing to the growth of the Pasadena office
Build relationships with carriers and clients and expand the firm's reach in the region
Collaborate with partners across offices on cross-jurisdictional litigation strategies
