Job Description
Make an immediate impact in a dynamic educational environment by supporting students across multiple grade levels as a School Psychologist. This short-term, onsite contract opportunity spans three schools—elementary, middle, and high—where your expertise will be valued in fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Educator Certification in School Psychology required
- Background working with diverse student populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP process, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support personnel
Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret the social, emotional, and academic needs of students
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and provide insight during eligibility and IEP team meetings
- Offer direct consultation, counseling, and intervention services across three schools
- Develop tailored strategies and recommendations for individual students and classroom environments
- Collaborate with school staff to design and implement effective support plans
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with regulations
