Medical Laboratory Scientist

Role: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Setting: Hospital Laboratory
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift with Call Rotation; nights/weekends included
Weekend Bonus: $2/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Requirements:

• Degree in Biology or Chemistry
• ASCP or equivalent certification
• Montana Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
• Experience across laboratory areas preferred, including Microbiology and Immunohematology
• Knowledge of CLIA, HIPAA, and compliance regulations
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Prepare specimens and operate automated analyzers
• Perform manual laboratory testing and evaluate results
• Work across all laboratory departments
• Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and QA
• Participate in performance improvement projects
