Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Starkville, Mississippi

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support a veterinary pharmacy specializing in large animals. With a manageable volume of approximately 100 prescriptions per day, the primary duties include entering prescriptions into the system, printing labels, and coordinating with warehouse staff to fill orders accurately.

Location: Starkville, MS
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Initial dates: November 12, 19; December 10, 17

Responsibilities:

• Accurately type prescription information into the pharmacy system
• Print and prepare medication labels
• Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure correct filling of prescriptions
• Participate in one day of paid training prior to starting

Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience, retail pharmacy experience is acceptable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
