Location – Covington, GA
Duration – 06 months contract
Pay Rate – $29.50 USD hourly on W2
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
Note: Shift flexibility and mandatory weekend overtime required.
Job Description:
We are hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a 6-month contract role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated conveyor systems and facility equipment. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, general facility repairs, equipment installations, and maintenance documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2–3 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems and preventive maintenance
- Electrical, controls, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of 12V/24V AC/DC and 120V/208V/277V/480V systems
- Familiarity with MHE batteries and work order processes/SAP
- Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Must be flexible to work weekends, overtime, off-shifts, and call-in assignments
