Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a high-volume inbound contact center and be comfortable assisting customers and providers with inquiries while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong service quality.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound customer service calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to inquiries related to eligibility, medical claims status, and program information.
- Provide accurate, unbiased assistance and help customers resolve their concerns.
- Escalate or transfer calls to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in online systems and logs.
- Navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Meet or exceed established performance, quality, productivity, and attendance standards.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive customer-service approach during all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months of high-volume inbound contact center experience within the last 12 months.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Austin, TX.
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Must be able to maintain the assigned schedule without changes during the first 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, insurance, or government programs.
- Experience handling high-volume customer inquiries and working with multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and call-resolution skills.
