Assignment Overview
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join a dynamic interventional lab team. This role focuses on cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology in a hospital setting. Candidates should be adept at handling various cardiac and vascular procedures.
Assignment Details
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3450 (negotiable)
- Shift: 4x10 Days
- On Call: Every 3rd weekend and 1-2 weekday call shifts
- Location: Huntley, IL
- Unit: Interventional Lab
- Facility Type: Hospital
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and other procedures
- Perform equipment setup and maintain a sterile field
- Assist with pacemaker insertion and carotid stenting
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and conduct electrophysiology procedures
- Participate in winter holiday call coverage
Qualifications
Required:
- American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree for Radiographer
- Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety Certified (IDNS)
- BLS and ACLS CPR Certification
Preferred:
- Interventional Cardiovascular Registered (CVT) or RCIS Certification
- 1 or more years of hospital experience in Medical Imaging
