Lexington, NE | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | 3x12 Nights | Every Other Weekend | No Blocked Scheduling | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, serving a facility that sees up to 350 ER patients per month
• Float between the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, and Charge RN roles as needed — flexibility across all three areas is required
• Function as a multifaceted RN in a 25-bed critical access setting, adapting to varied patient care needs within a small facility environment
• Utilize Cerner for all clinical documentation and charting
• Attend orientation, which is conducted on Tuesdays only

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Emergency Room, Med/Surg, and Charge RN roles
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS (AHA or ENPC) required
• TNCC required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• SANE certification preferred
• Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital setting
