Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Deliver nursing care across Med Surg floors totaling over 70 beds
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• Float between units as required to meet staffing needs
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including a maximum of 4 days/nights of requested time off per 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience working in a high-census, fast-paced Medical Surgical environment
