Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled cardiovascular operating room nursing care across a 10-OR surgical suite
• Perform perioperative nursing duties including scrub and/or circulating roles for cardiovascular and surgical cases
• Support orthopedic and trauma surgical procedures as part of the OR team
• Participate in on-call requirements, expected approximately 4–6 call shifts per month
• Available for on-call coverage during upcoming holidays as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• PeriOp 101 completion required
• Orthopedic and trauma surgical experience required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical OR setting
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-OR surgical environment
