Job Description
PRT Staffing is currently seeking experienced Masons and Mason Tenders for a full-time opportunity.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking candidates with previous masonry or masonry support experience who are comfortable working in a physically demanding construction environment. Pay will be based on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities
Masons may be responsible for:
- Performing masonry work according to project requirements
- Working with block, brick, mortar, and other masonry materials
- Mixing and applying mortar
- Measuring, cutting, and placing masonry materials
- Using appropriate hand and power tools
- Maintaining quality and accuracy throughout the work
- Following jobsite safety procedures
Mason Tenders may be responsible for:
- Assisting masons with daily tasks
- Mixing and preparing mortar and other materials
- Carrying and staging block, brick, tools, and supplies
- Keeping masons supplied with materials throughout the workday
- Setting up and cleaning work areas
- Performing general labor and jobsite cleanup
- Following all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Qualifications
- Previous masonry or construction experience preferred
- Mason candidates should have hands-on masonry experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials
- Dependable transportation
- Must be reliable and able to report to work by 6:00 AM
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety
Compensation: $21.00–$27.00 per hour based on experience.
