Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to provide scrub support during major surgical procedures and maintain a safe, sterile operating-room environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of scrub experience.

• Experience with major OR procedures.

• Completion of an appropriate Surgical Technologist training program, including military training.

• NBSTSA CST Certification required; no other certifications accepted.

• AHA BLS certification.

• English proficiency: Read, Write, and Speak.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with major OR procedures.

• Extensive scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub duties during major surgical procedures.

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field according to surgical protocols.

• Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures.

• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team.

• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team as required.

• Maintain proper sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.

• Assist with counts of instruments, needles, and surgical supplies.

• Monitor the sterile field and promptly address any breaks in sterile technique.

• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent surgical procedures.

• Maintain a safe and organized operating-room environment.
