Shift: Day | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM | Occasional night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM may be required
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week

Local: $49–$53/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a 34-bed rural critical access hospital.
Required Qualifications
Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT credential.
AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Minimum 1 year of RRT experience.
Strong respiratory care and clinical assessment skills.
Ability to provide respiratory care in a critical access hospital environment.
Ability to work day shifts and occasional night shifts as required.
Strong reliability with minimal RTO and schedule requests.
Preferred Qualifications
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Certified Monitor Technician (CMT) certification.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day respiratory care functions in a 34-bed rural critical access hospital.
Provide broad respiratory therapy services, including emergency department response and ventilator management.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis.
Perform EKGs and provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care.
Maintain precise and timely clinical charting and documentation according to facility protocols.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team.
Maintain safety, compliance, and clinical autonomy while providing patient care.
Support respiratory care needs across the hospital as required.
