About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department. As an ADON, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. Your clinical leadership, supervisory skills, and ability to maintain a safe, efficient, and resident-centered environment will make a significant impact on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and delegate nursing activities
• Evaluate performance by the nursing department and recommend improvements
• Conduct patient rounds and address complaints
• Monitor and train the nursing staff
• Ensure all insurance paperwork for incoming residents is in order
• Conduct appropriate admission assessments of incoming residents to your nursing home

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience in long-term care, preferably as an ADON
• Active RN license in the State of Illinois and in good standing
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
• Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
