Commercial Electrician

PPS Trades is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join an established electrical contractor serving the Greater Cleveland area. The company has been serving the Greater Cleveland area for more than four decades, with work ranging from commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs to new construction, installations, remodeling, lighting upgrades, tele-data, fire alarm systems, and more.

[What You'll Do]

• Perform electrical work on commercial and industrial projects.
• Complete electrical installations for new construction.
• Perform commercial electrical remodeling and rewiring.
• Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade commercial lighting fixtures and systems.
• Assist with commercial energy audit-related electrical work.
• Bend and install electrical conduit.
• Perform wire pulling and associated electrical installation work.
• Install and service tele-data systems.
• Install and service fire alarm systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and assist with repairs and maintenance.
• Complete work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and company standards.
• Follow all required safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

[What We're Looking For]

• Previous commercial electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency in conduit bending and wire pulling.
• Ability to read, understand, and utilize electrical blueprints.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installation practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and identify problems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional electrical crew.
