Job Description

Location: kdc/one Groveport | Full-Time

Lead the flow that brings top beauty brands to life

You’ll own the rhythm of a high-velocity filling and packaging line—coaching operators, safeguarding quality, and keeping output on target. In this hands-on supervisor role, you’ll train, guide, and coordinate a team to deliver safe, consistent, and efficient results every shift.

A day on your line
  • Kick off production with a huddle: align goals, confirm safety and housekeeping, and set expectations.
  • Oversee operations across the filling/packaging stations, adjusting to keep throughput and quality balanced.
  • Train teammates on SOPs, work instructions, cGMP, and OSHA-safe practices; model best behaviors at all times.
  • Capture production records and finished-goods data in SAP with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Run in-process checks—appearance, torque, and weight—and escalate/contain when results drift.
  • Track scrap precisely and ensure proper, compliant disposition.
  • Coordinate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and other partners for changeovers and projects.
  • Support investigations into failures or deviations and help pinpoint root causes.
  • Keep the line audit-ready—organized, compliant, and clean—start to finish.
  • Champion safety, GMP, and company policies; communicate clearly across and between shifts.
What you bring
  • High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing/production or 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Comfort with FDA cGMPs, OSHA requirements, SOPs, SAP, and HMI interfaces.
  • Strength in multitasking, problem solving, and meeting tight timelines.
Work environment and physical expectations
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Extended standing, walking, bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling.
  • Climate-controlled setting with moderate noise.
  • Frequent interaction with powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, electric pallet jacks).
  • Use of standard PPE (hairnet, safety glasses, lab coat, etc.).
Tools and technology
  • ERP Software (including SAP for production documentation and inventory/finished goods).
Proficiencies that set you up for success
  • Quality inspection and quality control
  • People leadership and team management
  • Troubleshooting and root-cause thinking
  • Manufacturing Instructions (MI) and SOP adherence
  • Production optimization and continuous improvement
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Mixing and weighing of raw materials
  • ERP & MRP systems
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Machine safety inspections
  • Machine setup for production runs
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
  • Injection molding and thermoforming familiarity
  • Operation of filling equipment
  • HMI utilization
  • Labeling/labelling equipment operation
  • General machine operation and troubleshooting
