Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring an Occupational Therapist for PRN coverage at Blackstone Valley in Whitinsville, MA. In this skilled nursing setting, you'll help residents overcome barriers to everyday activities through practical, individualized rehabilitation.

What You'll Do

• Assess residents' ability to complete daily activities, considering physical limitations, cognition, safety awareness, and prior routines.

• Establish treatment plans that address meaningful goals for self-care and participation in daily life.

• Provide interventions for dressing, bathing, toileting, upper-extremity function, and activity tolerance.

• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach techniques that help residents complete tasks more safely and independently.

• Monitor outcomes, update care plans, and guide COTAs participating in treatment.

• Document evaluations and treatment sessions, collaborate with nursing and other therapists, and contribute to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.

• Effective clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.

• Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
