Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians
- Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust exposure parameters to obtain quality images
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Perform imaging procedures, including portable radiography and C-arm imaging as needed
- Verify and document imaging exams in the PACS; communicate pertinent information to radiologists and physicians
- Maintain equipment and verify safety protocols; adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification – Required
- California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) – Required
- Fluoroscopy license in California (to be obtained within 6 months of hire) – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
- Minimum two years of recent radiology tech experience, including portable and C-arm work
- Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology (Preferred)
