Seasonal Sales Associate

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused temporary Sales Associate to join our dynamic holiday market team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for retail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they receive knowledgeable assistance and support throughout their visit.

Duties:
-Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.
-Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
-Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
-Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
-Maintain store appearance through effective merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays.
-Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
-Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
-Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
-Required to work independently at the store located in an outdoor environment.

Experience:
-Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly within a retail store environment.
-Familiarity with POS systems (Square) and cash handling procedures is essential.
-Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
-Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
-Strong management etiquette is important for handling booth and customer inquiries in a fast paced work environment effectively.

Job Duration:
November 30th to December 31st , 10am to 8pm (5 to 6 hr shift)

• 18 years or older

• Able to work in an environment with low temperatures
• 2-3 years of total work experience
• At least associate's degree or higher
