Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Rad Technician (ARRT) to assist in the cardiovascular lab. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a Cardiologist/Radiologist, aiding in both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. The role involves ensuring the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitoring instruments and supplies, and participating in departmental meetings and training activities.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 5x8 Days
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3600 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data
- Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure
- Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities
- Assist in training new staff
- Support all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- ARRT-R and state-required license or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Technologist) or VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCI)
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department
- BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current status
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
- Proficient computer skills
Preferred:
- Training in Cardiovascular Technologist program with emphasis on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring
