Pharmacy Technician Advocate - Full-time

**Your future role at a glance** + **Location:** Remote + **Department:** Ascension Pharmacy Services + **Schedule:** Day shift | Full-time Monday-Friday + **Supporting Location:** Nashville, TN **How you’ll make an impact in this role** + **PAP & Medication Access:** Experience supporting Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), medication access, benefit investigations, and specialty prior authorizations. + **Financial Assistance, Grants & Foundations:** Knowledge of patient assistance resources, eligibility requirements, application processing, and foundation funding. + **Patient & Provider Coordination:** Communicates with patients, pharmacists, prescribers, specialty pharmacies, and external assistance organizations to resolve medication access barriers. + **Documentation & Compliance:** Maintains accurate patient records, verifies supporting documentation, and follows applicable privacy, regulatory, and program requirements. + **Remote Work & Case Management:** Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills to manage assistance applications, track approvals, and coordinate patient cases independently in a remote environment. + **Minimum Qualification:** At least one year of relevant experience with PAP, specialty prior authorizations, financial assistance, grants, or foundation programs. **What minimum requirements you’ll need** **Licensure / Certification / Registration** + Required Credential(s): + One or more of the following: + Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. **Education** + High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. **Additional Preferences:** + 1+ year experience of high-level of PAP, Grant and Foundation experience _required._ + 1+ year experience of high-level PA, PBM, FA, 340B experience _required._ + State Licensure in the Supported State. **Life at Ascension: Where purpose meets opportunity** Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system with a culture and associate experience grounded in service, growth, care and connection.
