We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing team producing precision components for a variety of industries. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC equipment to manufacture quality parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and production standards. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and troubleshooting machining processes in a production environment.Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications and production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Load materials, install tooling, and set work offsets as needed.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine setups, tool changes, and program adjustments.
- Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and equipment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records as required.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing concerns.
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Experience operating or setting up CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Working knowledge of CNC machine controls and machining operations.
- Ability to perform basic program edits, tooling adjustments, and offset changes.
- Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to identify and resolve machining or quality issues.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, machining centers, grinders, routers, or other CNC equipment.
- Multi-axis machining experience.
- Familiarity with controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, Okuma, or similar systems.
- Experience machining metals, plastics, composites, or other production materials.
- Setup experience including tooling, fixturing, and workholding.
- Experience with high-volume production, short-run manufacturing, or job shop environments.
- Basic CNC programming or program editing experience.
- Background in aerospace, automotive, defense, energy, medical device, oil & gas, or other precision manufacturing industries.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claremore, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
