Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Marketing And Donor Cordinator Manager, the Receptionist answers and routes incoming calls, provides general information, and performs routine administrative and office support functions. This position also assists the Marketing Department with projects, activities, and overflow work as needed and performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Tasks

  • Answer and route calls using a multi-line telephone system.
  • Assist the Marketing Department with projects, activities, and overflow work as needed.
  • Help prepare, organize, assemble, and distribute marketing materials.
  • Provide general information and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Perform routine administrative and office support functions, including word processing, filing, and document preparation.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Complete other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

Accountability

The Receptionist’s actions and decisions generally have a limited direct impact on company revenue and operations but can significantly affect MedCure’s reputation and customer satisfaction.The Receptionist follows established standards, procedures, and processes and does not typically make independent operational decisions. This position works under the supervision and direction of the Marketing Manager.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with visitors, callers, employees, and grieving or upset individuals.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and accept direction.
  • Ability to provide administrative and project support to the Marketing Department as needed.
