AUTOMOTIVE PARTS COORDINATOR - Now Hiring

Motorcars International | Smyrna, GA

Pay: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Motorcars International, an established independent European and import automotive repair facility in Smyrna, GA, is looking for a dependable, organized Automotive Parts Coordinator to join our team.

We're looking for someone who understands automotive parts, communicates well with vendors, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running efficiently.

This is not a retail parts counter position. You'll work directly with our service advisors and technicians to make sure the right parts arrive on time, orders are accurate, and returns and vendor issues are handled promptly.

Responsibilities

• Order parts for approved vehicle repairs.
• Receive incoming parts and verify accuracy against repair orders.
• Handle parts returns, cores, warranty returns, and vendor credits.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding incorrect parts, shortages, delays, and other issues.
• Compare pricing and availability between vendors when appropriate.
• Track backordered parts and provide updates to the service team.
• Maintain an organized parts area and accurate records.
• Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to keep repairs moving efficiently.
• Provide occasional backup phone coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive parts suppliers and ordering processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computers and automotive shop software.
• Dependable, motivated, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
• European automotive parts experience is a plus.
• Tekmetric experience is a plus.
