Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company in Graham, NC is seeking a Knitter to support fabric production on single needle bar knitting machines. In this role, you will repair holes and defects in fabric, monitor machines for low warps and off-size beams, and help maintain consistent production quality. You will also accurately complete production cards and tickets for rolls of fabric. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable working in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Repair holes and fabric defects on single needle bar knitting machines
- Monitor machines to prevent low warps from running out into the machine
- Identify and monitor off-size beams during production
- Complete production cards and tickets accurately with information related to fabric rolls
- Handle yarn carefully to protect product quality and minimize damage
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to repair defects on all bars associated with single needle bar knitting machines
- Ability to monitor knitting machines for low warps and off-size beams
- Ability to handle yarn delicately and accurately
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Must be available to complete initial training on 1st shift from 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
- Must be available to transition to the regular 2nd shift schedule of 3:30 PM–11:30 PM after training

The base pay range for this position is $14.50 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
