Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions, focusing on rapid assessment, stabilization, and disposition
- Perform triage, monitor vital signs, interpret tests, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and procedures appropriate to the ED setting; respond to urgency and trauma as needed
- Document assessments, treatments, medications, and patient responses clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure adherence to scope of practice and safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, respiratory therapists, and support staff; participate in code events and rapid response when triggered
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and patient education; assist with discharge planning and family communication
- Holiday coverage: must work 2 major holidays of the 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Services
- Certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSSS
- Ability to work a 36-hour weekly schedule on 12-hour shifts; flexibility to cover varying shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM as needed
- Eligible to practice as a registered nurse in the listed location and to participate in a travel assignment
