    • Obstetric & gynecologic surgery (Cesarean section, D&C, Hysterectomy)
    • Liver surgery
    • GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy)
    • Minor Orthopedics
    • Hand Surgery
    • Ventilation management
    • Chest tube insertion
    • Central line insertion
    • PA Catheter placement
    • Laser certification
    • Vascular Surgery (Aneurysm repairs (Thoracic, Abdominal), Arterial bypass (Peripheral), Vascular access devices (AV shunt))
    • Plastic Surgery (Artesias (Esophageal, Intestinal, Biliary), Abdominal wall defects (Gastroschisis, Umbilical defects, Hernia, Omphalocele, Diaphragmatic hernia), Imperforate anus, PDA ligation)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified
  • Licenses: Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform emergency general surgery procedures including bowel resection, trauma surgery, and perforation repairs
  • Manage incision and drainage of abscesses and wound care
  • Provide on-call coverage for emergency surgical consultations and interventions
  • Utilize advanced surgical skills as needed (laparoscopic, vascular, plastic surgery)
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system (MediTech)
