We are actively recruiting a self-motivated, energetic, and highly organized individual to join our St. Louis team as a Full-Time Aquatics District Manager. This role ensures multiple aquatic facilities operate safely, efficiently, and provide exceptional guest experiences.
The Aquatics District Manager works closely with pool managers, facility staff, and client representatives to oversee operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance. This position requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required in-season (May through September)
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
- Compensation: Salary (includes car allowance; health, dental, life, and retirement benefits available)
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience managing aquatic facilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and maintain insurability
- Knowledge of pool mechanical systems and operations preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations of multiple facilities per budget
- Conduct facility inspections for safety, cleanliness, and staff professionalism
- Recruit, train, and evaluate lifeguards, managers, and other facility staff
- Monitor schedules, timekeeping reports, and certifications
- Perform database entries for tracking certifications and registrations
- Serve as main point of contact for pool managers, staff, clients, and the MPM office
- Provide on-call support for operational, personnel, water quality, or guest issues
- Attend weekly and monthly staff and client meetings
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations
Certifications & Training
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred or ability to obtain within six months
- Lifeguard Training Instructor Certification preferred or ability to obtain within six months
- Ongoing training provided to support safety compliance, facility operations, and staff leadership
