We are seeking a nurturing and creative Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Addison, VT.

What You'll Do:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curricula that align with Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS).
• Cultivate a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore.
• Observe and assess individual child development to tailor activities and support diverse learning needs.
• Maintain regular, open communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities, milestones, and progress.

Requirements

• Sound understanding of early childhood development principles and positive guidance techniques.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.

• Know and follow CDD Child Care Licensing Regulations
• Planning, preparing, and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Vermont Early Learning Standards/TSG 
• Healthy classroom management skills.
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
• Develop positive relationships with children, co-workers, families, and external personnel.
• Constantly shows up and wants to work as part of a team.

• Experience with young children in a professional setting.
• Minimum Fundamentals.
• Vermont 9-hour orientation and mandated reporting.
• Infant and Child CPR/First Aid.
