We're looking for an experienced Handyman / Craftsman who wants more than a list of jobs to complete. You'll work directly with customers, take ownership of projects, and play an important role in growing the Monty's brand.

What You'll Do

No two days will look exactly the same.

You may spend one day completing drywall, trim, or repair work and the next walking a homeowner through an estimate or coordinating subcontractors on a larger remodeling project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Complete hands-on handyman, repair, and remodeling work.
• Estimate and scope residential projects.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs for membership clients.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on larger projects.
• Ensure projects meet Monty's standards for quality and customer experience.
• Communicate directly with homeowners throughout the project.
• Build relationships with property managers, condo communities, and referral partners.
• Attend team meetings, training, and development opportunities.
• Represent Monty's professionally in customers' homes and throughout the community.

Licensed trades such as electrical and plumbing are excluded from the hands-on scope of this position.

What We're Looking For

Hands-on experience is required for this position.

We're looking for someone with verifiable experience in handyman work, remodeling, residential construction, or a similar skilled trade environment.

You should also be:

• Confident completing a variety of residential repair and improvement projects.
• Comfortable estimating and evaluating the scope of a job.
• Dependable and able to take ownership of your work.
• Professional and comfortable communicating directly with homeowners.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Comfortable using technology for estimates, scheduling, and communication.
• Growth-minded, coachable, and willing to work as part of a team.

Requirements

• Verifiable handyman, remodeling, or general construction experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities associated with residential handyman and remodeling work.
