Urgent Care Front Desk / Director of First Impressions (DOFI)

HealthCARE Express is looking for a dependable, energetic, and outgoing Director of First Impressions (DOFI) to join our urgent care team!

Our DOFIs are the first people our patients see when they walk through the door and play a huge role in their overall experience. This position is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, can stay organized when things get busy, and brings a positive attitude to work every day.

What You'll Do

As a DOFI, you'll greet and check in patients, verify demographic and insurance information, answer phones, collect payments, scan documents, and help keep patient accounts accurate and up to date. You'll also help answer patient questions and work closely with the clinical team to keep things moving throughout the day.

Because urgent care can be unpredictable, we need someone who is flexible, comfortable multitasking, and willing to jump in wherever needed while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are a must, along with basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.

Previous experience in urgent care, healthcare, patient registration, front desk, or customer service is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Position Details

• Pay: $15.00+/hour, based on experience

• Hours: 30+ hours per week

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays; schedule may vary
