Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care setting, offering an 8-hour day shift schedule with no call requirements.
Details
- Acute care setting within the Physical Therapy unit
- 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- No call required; weekends not required

Requirements
- BLS-AHA certification required
- MN state Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
- Valid driver's license may be required when applicable
Additional Information
- Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
- Documents patient information for evaluation and maintains documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Educates patients and family members about treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Analyzes and records therapeutic progress and recommends necessary adjustments
- Follows all guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
- Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at an adjusted pay rate
