Job Details

  • Position Description: The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, participates in diagnostic testing, and treats referred patients. Responsibilities include acute, swing, and outpatient care, primarily focusing on geriatric populations, with opportunities for younger client volume growth.
  • Required Qualifications: Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current CCC certification, active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of current experience. Candidates must be willing to work inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings. Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients is required, along with proficiency working with inpatient, outpatient, and rehab patients.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The candidate should be proficient with modified barium swallow studies, swallow therapy, and common speech therapy treatments for aphasia, voice, and cognitive therapy. Must have reliable transportation, include all RTO requests at submission, and have the flexibility to work during scheduled holidays if needed.
