Job Summary
Xray Technologist in McAllen, TX. This role involves performing radiologic examinations within the Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) unit of a healthcare facility. The position requires working during evening shifts, with a focus on patient safety, radiation safety, and efficient imaging procedures to support diagnosis and treatment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Data Collection beginning on 06/05/2026 in the Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) unit at a healthcare facility that includes general X-ray procedures, MBSS studies, Small Bowel, UGIs, BEs, VCUGs, and fluoroscopy.
- Unit Information: Consists of 4 full-time and 3 PRN staff members, working in shifts across day, evening, and night hours.
- Experience with GE equipment and knowledge of Radiation Safety and Texas Regulations are required.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with fluoroscopy is a plus.
- Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, Texas Medical Board license, BLS certification, experience with GE equipment, weekend flexibility, and knowledge in Radiation Safety and Texas Regulations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy.
- Additional Information: Self-motivated, efficient, and able to work well with others. Open to assisting with weekend shifts and holidays.
