School Sign Language Interpreter *Up to $50/hr

This 36-week position offers the opportunity to provide instructional sign language interpretation in a school setting near Surprise, Arizona. The role offers competitive pay up to $50 per hour based on experience, benefits, and a chance to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional sign language interpretation during school hours.

• Facilitate effective communication between students and staff.

• Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Manage and document interpretation sessions accurately.

• Collaborate with educational team members to support student needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an interpreter training program.

• Valid driver's license.

• Valid Arizona ID Verified Prints Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Social Security card.

• CPR certification from an accredited agency (in-person).

• First Aid certification from an accredited agency (in-person).

• Minimum of 1 year providing instructional interpretation in a school environment.

• Excellent communication and soft skills.

• Ability to work in a school setting during day shifts.

• Must pass background checks and fingerprinting as per facility requirements.

• Must obtain and maintain all listed certifications.

• Must have a valid driver's license for travel if required.
