Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 4:30am

Please find a brief description of each machine operator technician role below:

• Flexographic Press Operator & Laminator Operators – (Press) Major Job Function: Our operators are responsible for running a flexographic printing press or lamination machine. They set up the machine and ensure all raw material are approved for use. They also ensure print design conforms with job specs, reviews samples for quality control and identify nonconformities while following applicable safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Tasks 

• Set-up press in a timely manner, following all procedures.
• Instruct assistant (press operator II) during set-up.
• Change gears.
• Perform cylinder and anilox changes.
• Clean ink stations and prepare stations for the next order.
• Monitor and control ink color and consistency.
• Monitor and control the over-all print quality.
• Prepare for the next order by ensuring that all external procedures are completed before the
• next order is due to run.
• Housekeeping/5S.
• Work as a team member and participate in all activities in the press department.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Will train on shift as needed.
• Must be able to communicate and understand work instructions and training information.
• Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.
• Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.
• Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
• Assist in Training.
