Job Title: Supervising Discipline Engineer, Electrical (Power Generation)
Job Description
As a Supervising Discipline Engineer, Electrical (Power Generation), you will be responsible for creating equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis to support the design and configuration control process. You will lead and support electrical engineering and design activities on a project, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create equipment specifications for transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and UPS/DC.
- Conduct electrical studies including short circuit, voltage drop, coordination, and arc flash studies using OTI-ETAP software.
- Prepare electrical design documents such as single-line diagrams, panel schedules, schematic and wiring diagrams, electrical physical and raceway drawings, lighting and grounding plans, and cable schedules.
- Supervise and review proposals, schedules, and budgets, monitor and report on budget and schedule performance, and provide technical leadership to engineers and designers.
- Coordinate activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and other project team members.
Essential Skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) Status.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical or electrical engineering with a focus on conventional generation power plant development.
- Ability to manage work within the electrical discipline, ensuring correct delivery of all work products.
- Experience in the power generation market, bill of materials, design engineering, and project engineering.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Laurel, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
