We are seeking a Clinical Research Specialist to assist in designing, planning, and developing clinical evaluation research studies for products under clinical investigation. The role involves preparing and authoring protocols and regulatory submissions, conducting clinical studies of products that satisfy a medical need or offer commercial potential, and aiding in the oversight and interpretation of clinical investigations for new device or consumer applications.
Responsibilities- Prepare and author protocols and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct registered and non-registered clinical studies.
- Oversee and interpret results of clinical investigations.
- Manage operational aspects of clinical trials with the Study Team.
- Ensure compliance with SOP, GCP, and specific country regulations.
- May prepare clinical trial budgets and be responsible for site and vendor selection.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team including site managers, monitors, statisticians, and field teams.
- Build and maintain effective collaborations with internal and external parties.
- Assist in local evidence dissemination strategies.
- 2-5 years of experience in clinical research on the sponsor side.
- Experience with medical devices.
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 812.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Recent experience in medical device research is preferred.
- Diabetes therapy experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience executing under FDA 21 CFR Part 812 is preferred.
- Experience with Veeva Vault is a plus.
- Ability to work PST hours is preferred.
The role involves working heavily with the R&D team, and there is no requirement to be onsite. The position requires working in Pacific Time Zone or being able to work PST hours.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
